Sharon Morris is the Chief Data Analytics Officer at CECOM/ASIC. In her role, she focuses on supporting efforts to use data as an asset to support readiness on the battlefield and to increase internal efficiencies. Before joining CECOM/ASIC, Sharon was a senior data science leader at PGIM Investments, where she focused on using AI to understand and to engage customers, empower Sales with tools needed to meet sales goals, and to use GenAI for efficiencies. Prior to that, she held leadership roles at Prudential Financial, Real Estate Board of New York, and PwC, driving innovation by aligning data and the supported infrastructure, data analytics, trading, research, data governance, and performance analytics.
Sharon holds two M.S degrees. She has a M.S. in Research Methods and statistics from Hunter College and a M.S. from CUNY SPS in Data Analytics. She is currently a doctoral candidate at George Washington University studying Engineering and Cybersecurity Analytics. Her area of research is the refusal behavior of GenAI systems against cybersecurity attacks. She is also a CIPP/US holder.
